I am a traditional fine artist specializing in original watercolor and acrylic paintings. My studio practice began in the late 1980s and has remained rooted in classical craftsmanship, observational drawing, and the expressive possibilities of paint on paper and canvas.
My subjects reflect the environments that shape everyday life — historic architecture, rural landscapes, churches, barns, wildlife, and quiet scenes that often go unnoticed. I work exclusively in traditional media, creating each piece by hand with a focus on authenticity, atmosphere, and the character of place.
Over the years, my paintings have been collected nationally and internationally by individuals who value original fine art and the enduring qualities of traditional craftsmanship. My goal is to create work that resonates with collectors, preserves meaningful environments, and honors the beauty found in ordinary moments.

My work is grounded in traditional fine art principles: careful observation, intentional composition, and the expressive use of watercolor and acrylic. I paint architecture, landscapes, wildlife, and everyday scenes because they carry stories — personal, regional, and cultural.
I am drawn to structures that have endured: churches, barns, historic homes, and familiar streets. These subjects reveal the passage of time and the character of a place. Through layered washes, controlled detail, and a commitment to craftsmanship, I aim to preserve these environments and invite viewers to slow down, look closely, and reconnect with the beauty of the ordinary.
My paintings are created entirely by hand using archival materials. Each piece reflects decades of studio practice and a lifelong dedication to traditional media.
For more than thirty‑five years, I’ve dedicated my practice to observing people, studying light, and refining the quiet discipline of drawing and painting. My studio work centers on portraiture, original paintings, and the foundational studies that shape every finished piece.
